Before We Start
In this guide, we will show you how to schedule your Blog Posts to be released at a time and date of your choosing. If you do not have a blog feed, or any blog posts, you can view our tutorials below to get started!
Logging In
Start by signing in to your Easy Sites account. If you have need help retrieving your log in details, please contact us or follow this tutorial if you have Forgotten your Password.
After successfully logging in, please select "edit site" to alter any website you hold with Easy Domains.
Selecting Blog Post
Once you have selected your domain, you will be re-directed to the default "Pages" tab. You will need to access your Blog Feed, by simply clicking the "Posts" button. Then you will need to select the Post you wish to schedule.
As you can see in the image above, "Private Post 3" was posted on 06/02/2024 at 10:56. In this example I would like to schedule it to be posted exactly a month after "Private Post 2". To begin, select the blog post you wish the schedule and then select "Blog Settings from the Menu on the left-hand side.
Scheduling Blog Post
Once you have selected your blog settings, you will find the "Scheduling" Feature at the bottom of the menu.
To schedule the blog, simply click on the box where the time and date already are, in this case it's "06/02/2024 10:56" and enter the new time and date.
To schedule a blog at the precise minute, just click on the box once more and type in the exact time you want to set it at.
Once happy with the new schedule, remember to click "Save".
Please Note: Naturally, should you schedule your blogs to be released at a future date, they will not appear on your website until the time and date it is set to be posted. You can always revert your changes back and even set it to a time and date that has already passed to display your blogs in a certain order on your website.
And you're done!
