How To Get Your Easy Sites Email In Gmail On The Web

Gmail on a computer used to collect email from other accounts, with an option called "Check mail from other accounts". Google no longer offers it to new users, and is removing it completely in January 2027. In January 2027 Google is also removing the option to send email from another provider's address in Gmail, and it may already stop new set-ups.

Google now suggests forwarding your email to Gmail instead. This guide shows you how to do that from your Easy Sites account.

What Forwarding Does

  • Every email sent to your business address is passed on to your Gmail inbox.
  • If your business address is also a mailbox, your emails still arrive there too, so you can still read them in Webmail or an email app.
  • When you reply from Gmail, your reply comes from your Gmail address, not your business address. To reply from your business address, use Webmail, or add your email to an app such as the Gmail app on your phone or Outlook.

Setting Up The Forward

  1. Sign in to your Easy Sites account and select "edit site".
  2. Click "Domain", then "Email Forwards".
  3. In "Address to forward", enter the first part of your business email address, the part before the @. For example, for info@yourdomain.co.uk, enter info.
  4. In "Forward to email address", enter your Gmail address.
  5. Click "Create Email Forward".

Your new forward appears under "Current Email Forwards".

Checking It Works

Send a test email to your business address from a different email account, then look for it in Gmail. If it isn't in your inbox, check your Spam folder. If you find it there, mark it as not spam, so that Gmail knows to let these emails through.

To keep your business emails easy to find in Gmail, you can also create a filter in Gmail.

Stopping The Forward

Go back to "Domain", then "Email Forwards", and click the red cross next to the forward under "Current Email Forwards".
